Defect screening after aging of secondary battery packs

The TI-S Series non-contact thermometer is used to measure the temperature of secondary batteries. After charging for a specified period of time, batteries with a temperature above the predefined threshold can be identified as manufacturing defects, while those below the threshold can be judged as acceptable products. Because the TI-S Series measures temperature without contact, it can instantly detect the temperature of an object without touching it, unlike contact-type sensors such as thermocouples. In addition, the built-in ring laser pointer allows users to visually confirm both the measurement position and measurement area at a glance, making it easy to verify that the object is correctly positioned within the sensor's field of view. Furthermore, the TI-S Series supports IO-Link, enabling connection to various industrial networks via an IO-Link master. This allows not only digital output of measurement values, but also remote parameter configuration and status monitoring.
